Talking Points Memo has mashed together Katie Couric asking Joe Biden and Sarah Palin the same questions about Roe v. Wade and the supreme court.

It is an insult to all Americans that this woman is on the ticket. Her ignorance is frightening. I agree with Josh that I’ve never thought too highly of Couric as a journalist, but she is getting the job done with these interviews—much more so than Charlie Gibson did. It has been incredible to see how Palin’s bravado has diminished. In the interview with Couric where McCain sat in, Palin looked like a tutle trying to hid in her shell.

Biden needs to have this exact demeanor in tomorrow night’s debate: relaxed, concise, humble, and confident.
